How to install wall covering

The most important preparation for Self-adhesive wall paper/fabrics

The wall must be clean, dry and free of loose paint. Then it is normally recommended to cover the wall surface with a wall primer prior to the application of wall covering. Because it ensures that your wall covering will adhere correctly to the wall and it helps future removal. All wall primers are available at any major hardware store.
For non-porous surfaces, dilute one part of water based Latex wall primer with an equal amount of water. Then, apply the primer with a paint brush and wait about 1~2hours for primer to dry.
Cut your first strips of Self-adhesive wall covering 4 inches longer than the wall height. It is easy to cut it into any shape, so you can also try to create an art piece by arranging different designs.
Now peel off its backing paper at a time and apply to the surface, gently rubbing wall covering with a rubber scraper.
Porous surfaces will require a primer that is suitable for the surface worked upon. Your local hardware store can provide recommendations based on the material.
